Have you ever just decided to dance by the light of the moon? This past Saturday, July 12th, 2014 was an awesome event in the night sky. I was sitting outside having a glass of wine with a few friends, and we were in awe of the moon. It was incredibly huge and bright. To me it looked like a harvest moon, but something was a bit different.
To our surprise it was a supermoon we found out the next day on the news. From what I understand a supermoon happens when the moon is at the nearest point to earth. Experts say it’s 15 percent larger and 30 percent brighter. This Supermoon could be seen all around the world.
So if you missed out on this beautiful event no need to worry. The supermoon will appear again on August 10th, 2014 and September 9th, 2014. I have always been fascinated with the moon. I think about centuries past, the way it lights up the night sky with an enchanted feel of romance.
So on the next supermoon, grab your loved one and dance by the light of the moon.
