An awesome event in my home town is just around the corner. The Waste Management Phoenix Open. January-27-2014 through February-2-2014. This will be my first time going to this event. Not knowing what to expect, I had a asked a friend “fill me in on this exciting event, The Waste Management Phoenix Open. First of all one can purchase tickets at www.ticketcity.com. This will also have the golf schedule as well for The Waste Management Phoenix Open. This is always a fun day week . It’s nice to be outdoors, following your favorite golf pros.
The Waste Management Phoenix Open is a really good time, and 75% of it comes down to the 16th hole. If you are a first timer, this 16th hole is a must. The golf course is very spectator friendly; however, the legendary 16th hole is the place to be. Surrounded completely with bleacher,s this is bar none the fun hole. The number of spectators allowed in is limited to the number of seats, so I would suggest on going to the 16th hole first thing in the morning. There might be somewhat of a wait, but it’s well worth the wait for the 16th hole. Spectators can also enjoy the added seats positioned around the property, especially the last four holes coming down the stretch 15 , 16, 17, and 18. Good tip… The bleachers on the north side at the 15th hole, that,s more family friendly. If you are going to The Waste Management Phoenix Open I would suggest going the day after it officially opens. The first day is fun but the crowds are unbelievable. However, the signage and volunteer assistance with parking is very good. So it’s your call. There are also shuttle buses that run back and forth from parking to The Phoenix Waste Management event. Thank goodness for that!
The Waste Management Phoenix Open Tournament is extremely organized. Volunteers are knowledgeable and very friendly. There are plenty of concession stands and, the food is tasty along with the bar concession stands. These are all throughout the course. How delightful on that! Plenty of porta-potties throughout as well. That’s a good thing. Overall, it’s a fun scene. As good as it gets for an outstanding golf tournament. Such a fun environment for all. Lot’s of walking, beautiful greens to say the least. I can’t stress this enough, wear a good, COMFORTABLE, pair of walking shoes. Walking around or walking to your favorite holes can be a small hike. You’ll be walking on grass but, it’s still a walk for sure. I would highly recommend bringing a small, clear ziplock bag for sunscreen, sealed bottle water, cash and credit card, hand sanitizer and a pen for autographs. I’ll wear and bring an extra baseball cap. I use them for autographs. No worries on pairing sheets, for they are free and available. For those of you who have strollers, fear not they are permitted on the cart paths at The Waste Management Phoenix Open. Very cool!
Oh!! Also, the Birds Nest located just past the 16th hole. You don’t want to miss the up coming attractions. It is a Must!! Great entertainment and drinks! Good time for everyone!
