I’ve always wanted to have a wine and cheese party.
I love wine (as I’ve mentioned before), and obviously we all know it pairs well with cheese. The only problem I’ve had with this is I don’t know what wine pairs well with what cheese. I’m better at pairing wine with food and dinners, not cheese.
Thankfully I found a great, easy list of what wine goes best with what cheese. I’m so excited about this! I always thought it would be so much fun to have a wine and cheese party at my house. I have a lot of friends that would enjoy this as well.
Here’s the list of what wine pairs best with what cheese for your own wine and cheese party.
- Brie- Chardonnay
- Gouda- Merlot
- Sharp White Cheddar- Cabernet
- Parmesan- Chianti
- Gruyere- Sauvignon Blanc
- Bleu Cheese- Riesling
- Ricotta- Pinot Grigio
- Mozzarella- Sauvignon Blanc
A simple list with some of my favorite cheese and wine for my next wine and cheese party. I love this list because it doesn’t have crazy cheeses that nobody has really ever heard of. It’s all cheeses that most people are familiar with and like. If you don’t like some of the cheeses listed, do a bit of research and switch them out for something you prefer. Another great idea to add to your wine and cheese party is some small desserts. Buy a sweet wine like a Riesling and pair it with some chocolate and raspberries.
Either way, I hope this list gives you inspiration to throw your own wine and cheese party.
