Moscow Mules are great! Also, you can’t go wrong with those fun copper cups they come in. If you’re a big fan of Moscow Mules like my boyfriend and I are, why not try a different twist on one? I found this simple and yummy recipe for a blueberry Moscow Mule. The ingredients and set up are very simple. Also, you can get those awesome copper mugs from Bevmo to really make it authentic. The color from the blueberries also give this drink a different and pretty look. And don’t forget, blueberries are a great super food full of antioxidants!
Here is the recipe for this yummy drink!
Ingredients (for Moscow Mule):
– 1 cup ginger beer
– 1 shot ginger vodka or blueberry vodka (you can make your own or buy it from the store. Skyy Vodka has a good one)
– juice of one lime wedge
– blueberry syrup (Recipe and directions for this below)
Pour the ginger beer, vodka and lime juice in a copper cup and stir. Add in the ice and then pour a little blueberry syrup on top. Give it another stir and garnish with blueberries and a lime wedge.
Ingredients (for blueberry syrup):
– 1 cup fresh blueberries
– 1/4 cup water
– 1 tablespoon sugar
Directions (for Blueberry Syrup):
Bring the ingredients to a boil for 5 minutes, then let it simmer for another 10 minutes until it thickens. Strain over a glass bowl and let it cool.
